Early Intervention ABA Providers And Supervisors

Early Childhood Associates – New York, NY

Job Description:

Early Childhood Associates is seeking experienced providers and supervisors for its growing home-based ABA/EI program in Manhattan. Interested individuals should have experience in the delivery of ABA services to the Birth-3 population, and be NYS Certified Special Education Teachers; Birth – Grade 2.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Providing 1:1 instruction consistent with current best practices in ABA therapy for children under 5
  • Gathering and graphing daily data to monitor effectiveness of defined tasks and objectives
  • Implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Work closely with parents and other EI providers working with the child
  • Flexibles schedules


Qualifications:


  • NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities; Birth – Grade 2
  • For providers: one year plus experience in ABA
  • For supervisors: three years experience

Early Intervention Bilingual and Monolingual Special Education Providers/SEIT
Early Childhood Associates – New York, NY

Job Description:


We are seeking Bilingual and Monolingual Special Education Teachers to conduct evaluations and/or provide services for infants/ toddlers and 3-5 year olds in Manhattan and The Bronx. Interested individuals should have a strong background in working with young children and have knowledge of the evaluation and treatment of children under 5.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Conduct formal evaluations using discipline specific tools to identify skill level and areas needed for therapeutic treatment
  • Provide services to meet child’s specific developmental needs as identified in their IFSP/IEP


Qualifications:


  • NYS Certification (Professional or Permanent) in Special Education; Birth – Grade 2
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experiencing administering standardized test/assessments; including the DAYC-2 and Help Strands
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish a big plus
  • Be efficient, organized, and able to write detailed reports.
  • Willingness to work with children in their homes,community and schools.

Early Intervention Service Coordinator
Early Childhood Associates – New York, NY


​​Job Description

Early Childhood Associates is seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator to provide coordination of services to families of infants and toddlers with known or suspected developmental delays living in Manhattan and The Bronx. Interested individuals should have a strong background in working with young children and have knowledge of the assessment and treatment of infants and toddlers.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Collaborate with other service providers to secure needed services for families.
  • Maintain proper documentation on families and children.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services or related field
  • 1-2 Years’ experience as a Service Coordinator in the New York City area
  • Strong commitment to helping families.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be efficient, well organized, and able to manage multi-family case load.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish a big plus
  • Willingness to meet with families in their homes or community.

Early Childhood Associates is seeking part time Physical Therapy Service Providers and Evaluators for our infant and toddler program in all areas of Manhattan and sections of The Bronx. Interested individuals should have a strong background in working with young children and have knowledge of the evaluation and treatment of infants and toddlers.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Provide Physical Therapy treatment in child’s home or program – manage your own schedule (including late afternoons and weekends)
  • Evaluate infants and toddlers to determine areas of delay. Provide therapeutic treatment recommendations.
  • Write comprehensive reports outlining evaluation findings.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to secure needed services for families.
  • Maintain proper documentation on families and children.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).


Qualifications:


  • Must have NYS License in Physical Therapy
  • Pediatric experience required.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Be efficient, organized, and able to write detailed reports.
  • Willingness to meet with families in their homes or community.
  • Supervision available for new PT grads with limited or no experience in Early Intervention
